Our client is one of the world's leading provider of agricultural products is currently looking for qualified young talented candidates to fill following position;
PROCESS ENGINEER
This position will report to Production & Engineering Manager. The incumbent will be responsible to lead production team (amination / amoniation, formulation and packaging ) to achieve the output of product required to service our customers needs and to do so in a safe and efficient manner whilst meeting required QESH standards.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Monitor and manage day to day amination / amoniation and formulation operations to ensure compliance with all statutory and government standards, utilizing ES&H resources.
- Maintain and monitor process safety implementation, do analysis on process safety incident and develop proper action plan of process safety incident in proper manner.
- Provide leadership and support to the production and engineering team and actively participate as required in plant wide teams.
- Work together with technicians / engineers to carry out plant shut down / start up maintenance, equipment setting and operations troubleshoot in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
- Provide input to the development and maintenance of operation, safety and environment procedures and systems.
- Perform analysis and monitor for overall plant performance including:
- Product yields
- Process safety KPI
- Material balance / material usage calculation
- Production costs
- On stream time / Cycle time
- Amount of product packaged
- Quality of product packaged
- Maintenance of process management file
- ES&H compliance
- Schedule and organize production requirements including casual labor and other production needs.
- Communicate effectively with workers, health and safety representatives, and managers.
- Ensure job related skills training for shop floor foreman and shop floor people, provide coaching and resolution of disciplinary situations.
- Provide a technical / engineering support in conjunction with the process operation performance, continuous improvements, trouble shooting and maintenance planning and scheduling.
The Requirements of this position are shown below:
- Both male / female
· Chemical engineering degree with 2 years experiences or diploma 3 majoring in chemical engineering
· Min 2 years experience in a chemical processing plant as process engineer
· Having experience in managing process safety management program
- Proficiency in English communication
- Having knowledge of distribution control system, able to read P&ID diagram and SPC implementation and six sigma
- Understanding of basic cost management
- Having a strong leadership skill
- Computer skill especially MS office application
- Have training certifications, min 3 or more from the list below;

- General Safety Policies Review,
- Lock out / Tag out,
- Risk Assessment,
